Rainie is serving in the café Honey and Billy are sitting together having lunch while Ian and Suki are sitting have a coffee when Zainab enters to find them already discussing Kat. Belinda asks what pain Stacey is going through and Stacey falls silent and walks out… Once again no one cares about Belinda’s drama because it is irrelevant to the pain the people around her are going through. Stacey holds her tongue and instead plays into the sympathy Belinda is feeling for herself by commenting that poor little forgotten Belinda is just sad that Kat has taken the shine of her big engagement news. Belinda bites back that it’s better than the psycho bastard of a cousin no one remembered until she had nowhere else to go. Kat has been through hell in her life after everything, Belinda can’t step up for once and just support her sister, she once again is the idiot of the family. When Belinda admits that Kat disgusts her Stacey really lays into Belinda for being so vapid and self-centred that she can’t see the bigger picture. Stacey doesn’t hold back as she reminds Belinda the life style she used to live with Neville their swingers parties and reminds her that all her extra marital affairs could have led to her get an STI or even HIV herself so she is in no position to judge Kat. Kirsty awkwardly slips out of the kitchen as Stacey and Belinda go head-to-head. Whitney is startled as Stacey storms into Dot’s kitchen and challenges Belinda on the comments she has continued to make about HIV and her sister. Ricky spots Sonia and Stacey chatting in the market and realising things are about to get worse with Belinda especially as Stacey storms off towards Dot’s, he realises he has to come up with a plan and spots Ben and Lexi heading through the market and calls out to him. Bilal asks Masood how well he coped when Zainab left him which leaves Masood speechless and he admits it took him awhile to be comfortable on his own but he did it. He has just come out of one life sentence he shouldn’t be signing straight up for another one.
Masood realising Kat is on his mind encourages him to forget about her and move on with his life. Masood notices how distant Bilal is and makes some half-hearted joke about it being the weekend which goes unaddressed by Bilal. But when she makes an offensive comment about “the gays” Sonia walks out of the kitchen and warns Ricky as he comes down the stairs that Belinda has gone to far and she wants her out of her house before she does some damage to her face. Sonia can’t help herself and correct every factually incorrect comment that Belinda makes. Honor sits down with Andrew and asks what the plan is and Andrew admits he has no idea.Īt Dot’s Belinda hasn’t slept and is ranting and raving in the kitchen to a bemused Kirsty and Whitney who are struggling to hide their shock at some of the horrifically inaccurate comments that Belinda is making. Zainab grabs a cup of coffee before heading back upstairs to get dressed asking if she can have her living room back this afternoon. Honor is in the kitchen making coffee and finds the whole exchange hilarious and reassures Zainab she has nothing to worry about Andrew’s very unlikely to try and cop an eye full. Zainab is startled when she finds Andrew on her sofa as she comes downstairs in her nightgown and she tries to cover herself up. Kat comments that Andrew didn’t come home last night Mo makes a joke about him getting lucky but it is clear Kat is worried. Mo reminds Kat that she has never ran away from anything and she doesn’t expect her granddaughter to start now. Mo reminds her that it is Saturday and Kat suggests she will have a spring clean then in preparation for their move. Kat admits she needs to chase up the council to see about this bigger housing they were arranging for them. Noticing Kat staring at life on the Square Mo asks her what her plans are for the day.
Kat is startled by Big Mo who jokes about how bad her hangover is.
She watches as Martin and Stacey play with the kids in the Square gardens and watches as Linda crosses the Square and calls out to Honey and stops for a gossiping before glancing over at Kat’s flat. It’s the day after the night before and Kat sits alone in the flat watching through slanted blinds as life on the Square goes on as normal.
